It is known that the brain receives information about the environment through the five methods of perception - sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch. Perception is a tool of the brain at any stage of age.

Scientists proved that the perception and memorization of information is as follows:

10% - when reading;

20% - by hearing;

30% - visually;

40% - by hearing and visually at the same time;

60% - at the oral discussion;

80% - in self-detection and formulation of the problem;

90% - in self-detection of problems and finding solutions

So, the more actively people will solve the problem, the higher will be the result. Thus, the most important psychological task is to preserve and maintain the activity of older people.

For older people with sensory disabilities solution of many problems can be alleviated by using the Assistive Technology.

One of the main goals of Assistive Technology is to be happy and independent.

In many ways Assistive Technology gives a new lease on life. It freed people from physical limitations and gives a sense of independence that may be they never dreamed possible. It gives people the opportunity to educate him/herself, to learn the language, learn to make something else. It improves people life immeasurably.

Organization of cognitive activities and information support are more relevant because of the need to train the cognitive processes.

This video and creative tree give the opportunity to introduce elderly people with sensory disabilities to the wonders of today's assistive technology and show them that Assistive Technology products are user-friendly and multifaceted.
