The objectives of the project
- To empower teachers to be more competent to increase the quality of inclusion for visually impaired pupils;
- To strengthen teachers’ skills and knowledge in working with blind and low vision pupils in inclusive education;
- To improve the quality of teaching through the use of assistive technologies in inclusive education.
The expected results of the project:
- A manual (handbook) that serves as a practical guide for teachers of inclusive education, providing information on how to adjust teaching methods and materials for pupils with visual impairments;
- A training program for subject teachers in inclusive education for blind and low vision pupils;
- A virtual classroom on the project website offers a demonstration of best practices for working with visually impaired pupils in the classroom.
