About us:
We are a Non profit association, database for education providing free tactile learning materials in 2D and 3D format
The aim of ProBlind is to overcome barriers in education.
By providing and sharing tactile learning materials in the form of tactile graphics and 3D models free of charge, we want to contribute to equal opportunities in education.
Since ProBlind e. V. is an authorized body according to § 45c para.3 UrhG (Marrakesh Treaty) we are authorized to share IP-protected content with the blind community.
Currently, there are over 10,000 graphics available, and new ones are being added every day.
Anybody can upload graphics. Each graphic can be cloned and adapted to personal needs. This adaptation is accessible so that people with blindness can adapt the content themselves. In addition, the content can automatically be translated into 27 languages using AI. Thereby, any learning content will automatically benefit blind people across the world. All graphics and 3D-Model files can be downloaded for free.
Together with schools and universities across Europe, we’re proud to be part of the following inspiring Erasmus+ projects. Thanks to these collaborations, we’ve created 1,250 tactile math graphics (‘Tactile Inclusion Project’) for learners of all ages—all released in August 2025. By September 2027, we’ll be adding 600 new biology graphics (‘BioTact’) and 100 3D models to our growing database.
And because we believe in making learning accessible to everyone, we’re also developing three innovative braille courses (‘Learn Braille 2.00’), each designed with a thoughtful pedagogical approach to inclusion.
